WORKSHOP 1 Your kitchen is your body - (Summer date TBC) 

This is a day workshop encompassing four sessions separated by buffets, drinks and a sit-down meal. 
 
Firechat - where a panel formed by a nutritionist, a chef, a GP and a physiotherapist will discuss how the food in your kitchen dictates your health. A 40 min session followed by Q&A. 
Yoga class - run by our yoga teacher who will tailor the session to suit all. 
Cooking class - run by an expert chef who will demonstrate and help you re-create. We will all eat what we’ve cooked, that's how confident we are. 
Speed share - your finest tips on food waste and your guiltiest food escapades. A safe space to share and learn from each other. 

WORKSHOP 2 Let’s talk about food waste - (Autumn date TBC) 

This is a day workshop encompassing four sessions separated by buffets, drinks and a sit-down meal. 
 
Firechat with guest speakers 
Exercise and meditation session 
Demo cooking class - on how to prep 2nd and 3rd meals from leftovers 
Test and taste. Testing your level of food waste and testing food samples for a prize

MEAT OPTION: 
Starter: Scallops with fennel and chorizo w watercress purée 
Main: Roast rack of pork w sage & lemon rub. Crisp and golden roast potatoes with goose fat & garlic. Minted broad bean, pea & asparagus. And of course, gravy 
 
VEGETARIAN OPTION: 
Starter: Garden vegetables w hot cheddar sauce & salsa verde mayonnaise 
Main: Chicory, walnut, pear & Roquefort salad, herb croutons & sherry vinaigrette. Rosmarin focaccia 
 
DESSERT: 
Layered English summer berries in Pimm’s jelly, topped w white chocolate cream & pistachio praline 

FRI DINNER Nov 27th 6 - 8.30 Somerton Village Hall 

MEAT OPTION: 
Starter: Duck & caramelised orange pâté w toasted sourdough & herb salad 
Main: Sweet smoked paprika lamb, chorizo and beans stew. Served w herb mash, cavolo nero. Pesto of pine nut, parsley, sage, rosemary & thyme 
 
VEGETARIAN OPTION: 
Starter: Roasted butternut squash w sweet spices. Roasted beetroot. Lime and green chilli and yoghurt 
Main: Caramelised onion & Cashel Blue tart tatin. Fricassee salad & toasted hazelnuts. Artichoke Purée 
 
DESSERT: 
Sticky toffee pudding w butterscotch sauce & crème fraîche 
Bar open £1.5 Larger or Spirits, Wine bottle from £10
